The Giving Machines are a popular and visible part of the Light the World campaign, an annual holiday initiative sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. These customized red vending machines provide a unique, memorable, fun way to give to those in need – locally or around the world. In 2023, there were 61 locations worldwide and I ran the social media accounts for the Greater Sacramento Giving Machines. Check it out @givingmachine.sac_mod.
